INCLUDED: One (1) GOOD+ 1/48 scale model. Stock Number #5700
I am not 100% certain that this is complete, but it sure does look like it is. Most of the pieces are skill on the sprues and I do not see any damaged parts. With this said, I will say that this is being sold as found for parts or restoration.
1/48 SCALE UNASSEMBLED PLASTIC MODEL KIT
With its wingspan of over 141 feet, its length of 99 feet and its four 2,200 horsepower engines, the B-29 was developed as a super bomber by the Boeing Aircraft Company to meet the specifications of the Air Force for a hemisphere defense weapon to supersede the B-17 flying Fortress and B 24 Liberator.
In World War II, B-29 bomber groups flew missions out of US bases in China and the South Pacific.
This kit includes decals and extra parts for assembling your choice of any of three specific aircraft that saw action in the South Pacific area… The Enola Gay or Bockscar, the planes from which the first and second operational atomic weapons were dropped, or the Thumper.
At 1:48 scale, this model has a wingspan of 35 1/4 inches (89.54 cm)… The longest wingspan of any non-flying plastic scale model airplane ever produced. The length is 24 3/4 Inches (62.87 cm).
It is highly detailed inside and out, including the cockpit, bomb bay interiors and gunners compartments. Propellers spin, turrets turn and guns move. Bomb bay doors can be opened or closed.
Kit also includes five crew members, bomb cart, Little Boy and Fat Man atomic bombs and twelve 1000 pound bombs. 24 3/4 Inches Long (62.87 cm) - 35 1/4 Inch Wingspan (89.54 cm) - Molded in silver, black and clear plastic. Cement and paint not included.
I WILL LET THE OVER SIZED PHOTO(s) DO THE TALKING - OVERALL CONDITION IS MUCH BETTER THAN GOOD PLUS
